Toxicity...Platinum?

Well Atlanta radio station 99X is claiming that System of a Down's new album, 'Toxicity' has been certified platinum by the RIAA. I am having a hard time confirming this, but it is probably likely that even if this isn't true, the album wil be platinum soon.
