Portishead Singer Goes Solo

Beth Gibbons of Portishead fame is taking a break from working on the new Portishead album and will release her own record, "Out Of Season", later this year. The LP has been recorded with former Talk Talk member Paul Webb, and she plans to debut songs at a gig at the London Shepherds Bush Empire on October 16th. An exact release date for the album is currently unconfirmed.
