Metalheads can be artists too!

Tribes of Neurot, the experiental art collective alter ego of Neurosis have just opened their first multimedia art installation. Entitled Cairn, the exhibit will be on display at the South Bend Regional Museum of Art until June 2nd. By combining audio, video and sculptural elements, the installation "attempts to evoke the resonance of ancient stone burial and ritual sites in Ireland by offering a site of immersion and meditation." A special limited-edition 4-CD set of sounds used in the installation will be available for purchase at the gallery and, eventually, from Neurosis Mailorder.
