Rhino Home Video will release a DVD version of The Juniper Tree on April 23rd. I know you're asking, "the juniper what?" Fans of the Icelandic goddess, Björk, will be very happy to know that The Juniper Tree was her first starring role. She plays Margit in the the motion picture, which is based on a Brothers Grimm fairytale of the same name. The story chronicles the journey of two girls who flee their home when their mother is burned at the stake for practicing witchcraft. The DVD will include an interview with director Nietzchka Keene, deleted scenes, and publicity photos.
