A Box Set, CD, And DVD On The Same Day

Both of Björk's upcoming greatest hits compilations, Greatest Hits and The Family Tree, have been set back to October 8th. However, since the setback both releases and the highly anticipated 2001 Royal Opera House DVD will hit stores together. As we've told you, the Greatest Hits features a list of songs voted on by fans. While, The Family Tree is a bit more robust: a 6-disc set which includes a 12-track disc of Björk's favorites, two "Roots" discs of early material, a 4-track "Beats" disc of early rhythms and two discs of orchestral arrangements (performed by the Brodsky Quartet), dubbed "Strings".
