As we've previously reported, Badly Drawn Boy has written ten songs and the score for the upcoming film About A Boy, the soundtrack due April 23rd. Well, now it seems that ARTISTdirect Records will be releasing an "official" album from Badly Drawn Boy later this year. Currently Gough is in a studio in Los Angeles, CA recording with producer Tim Rothrock. Gough stated: "I’ve got a clear picture of where the next record is going. I want to plug in the electric guitar a bit more. It’s already feeling like a collection of songs that really work together."
