Where's My Nirvana Box Set? Courtney ... ?

Reported by heyrevolver

Yesterday, Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic filed a countersuit against Courtney Love. They claimed that Love "[exploited] the cache surrounding [Kurt] Cobain's death" by performing the last known Nirvana song, 'You Know You're Right', during her own MTV Unplugged set. They stated: "Despite her husband's having completed a recording of the song with Novoselic and Grohl, the only version of the song that Love has allowed the public to hear is her own." The countersuit also includes allegations of tortious interference, because Love stopped the delivery of 10th Anniversay Nirvana box set, an attempt to kick Love out of Nirvana L.L.C., and trademark infringement (something having to do with Nirvana.com).Anyways, to sum it all up, Grohl and Novoselic wrote an open letter to all Nirvana fans (click the link to read it in full). It's a little long, but it well written and completely appropriate. Also, to read more about the legal aspect, head to Billboard.com and that should fill in any gaps.
