Ryan Adams Releases Thousands of Albums

Reported by robin

Ryan Adams will be dominating the new releases section in the upcoming weeks, according to Billboard.com. On November 4th, he will be releasing Rock N Roll, and the EP Love is Hell Pt. 1. On December 9th, Love is Hell Part 2 will be out along with a collection of unreleased singles. All this releasing has to do with a disagreement he had with his label, Lost Highway, who didn’t think the songs recorded for Love as Hell were up to par; they felt Rock N Roll was a more appropriate follow-up to 2001’s Gold. This album will feature guest stints by Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong, Hole's Melissa Auf Der Mar, and Adams’ current squeeze Parker Posey (no word on if she is singing or playing).

Now here's the latest Tori Amos development: Tori has opened her back catalog to release her first ever compilation entitled Tales of a Librarian on November 18. This collection is a 2-Disk CD/DVD compilation that Tori describes as her musical "autobiography." The album features 20 songs that document a career spanning over a decade, and you knew about it all before, including the pair of brand-new songs as well as newly recorded renditions of two ultra-rare B-sides. A bonus DVD features songs recorded live during sound check of the final show of Tori's summer 2003 North American tour. And the cover art is sexy, ya'll.
