New band causes controversy by being old band

Reported by yewknee

While the rumor has been neither confirmed nor denied, it has been speculated that the latest offering from Adeline Records The Network may actually be Green Day (possibly mixed with members of Devo). Their debut album Money Money 2020 is definetly a bit of a musical departure if it is members of Green Day, but that's probably the whole point. Check it out for yourself at Adeline Records, or at The Network official site.

Fischerspooner Gone Wild

Reported by robin

The enigmatic Fischerspooner are currently recording the follow-up to their debut, #1. Pink Floyd is a reference, but it's not as down and introspective, though it takes you on a journey. It's the record I always wanted to make as a kid, something that feels substantial.” The video for the first single, “Never Young”, will feature girls going wild. Yes, the ones from the infomercials on Spring Break and Mardis Gras.
