Metallica Gets Fused

On Friday, October 24th, Metallica will appear in an interview on Fuse TV, when the channel premieres a special edition of Uranium dedicated to the band. The special 30-minute segment includes both a sit-down interview with all band members as well as exclusive performance footage from their sold out August 29th concert at NYC’s Bowery Ballroom.

Arnold's Queer Eye

In other Fuse TV news, during a new episode of the "Behind the Music that Sucks", the show will present "The Arnold Eye for the Girly Guy", a spoof on the show "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy", featuring an animated Michael Jackson as the makeover subject, with Arnold Schwarzenegger leading the transformation effort. You can sign up for a preview over at the Fuse website. The new episode will premiere on Saturday, November 8th at 7pm and will kick off a three-hour marathon of "Behind the Music that Sucks" featuring the best of the past episodes including parodies of Eminem, Marilyn Manson and Jon Bon Jovi.

Ozomatli Still Kicking

Ozomatli released their Coming Up EP back in September to little fare. However, fans can now order the release from the band's website or buy from a local retailer. The EP, which includes 4 new tracks and a cover of "Mi Gente" Ozo-Kumbia Kings, serves as a preview for the release of their next LP, Street Signs, in 2004.

Little Children Jumping Back Into Action

The Carolina's own Jump, Little Children are getting back into the swing of things. After taking a break so life could catch up with them, they are headed back out on an East Coast tour. Singer, songwriter, frontman Jay Clifford recently contributed a few tracks and played guitar on the new Howie Day album, so, in act of good sense, the band is headed back out to re-hit those areas where he peformed with Day. Furthermore, the band will be performing new songs that will serve as the beginning of a new album to be recorded next year. A Spring 2004 release date is expected, but we won't hold them to it yet.

One Less On The Farm

According to the band's website, Alien Ant Farm have parted ways with guitarist Terry Corso over "irreconcilable differences". Between shows, the band picked up guitarist Victor Camacho to finish out their current Fall stint with 311. No word on a permanent replacement for Corso.

Hooray for actual ENEMY news

I'll believe it when I see it, but it appears that ENEMY are planning to release their debut album Hooray For Dark MatteR through their website at the end of November. For those who don't know, ENEMY is the band of Troy Van Leewen - the guitarist who has been part of Failure, A Perfect Circle, and currently, Queens Of The Stone Age. Check the more for European tour dates in support Mark Lanegan.

Sixty Six To Timbuktu

Atlantic Records has announced the forthcoming release of a compilation of solo material by Robert Plant, entitled Sixty To Timbuktu. Due November 4th, the 2-CD anthology spans the full range and depth of Plant's work outside of Led Zeppelin - from his first pre-Zep single in 1966 to a live recording made earlier this year in Timbuktu. Included are original album tracks, rarities, and previously unissued material, which have all been remastered. Check out some streams in Real Video and Windows Media, along with this handy ecard.

Apparently the Burden Brothers will be releasing an album entitled Buried In Your Black Heart on November 18th through Trauma Records. The band's site mentions nothing of it, but thanks to a hot email tip we discovered the online order page for the album. Perhaps some detective works needs to be done.

Inside P.O.D. Culture

The first one million copies of the P.O.D. album, Payable On Death,, will include an bonus PS2 DVD containing the exclusive "Space", a song contributed to the soundtrack for the PS2 game Amplitude. The disc will also feature a 50-minute, behind-the-scenes documentary, titled Inside P.O.D. Culture, and a special feature on Daniel Martin Diaz, the artist who created the paintings and sketches for the Payable On Death packaging. The package is due in stores nationwide on November 4th. For now, you can watch the video for the first single, "Will You", in Windows Media or Real Video, and then check out the ecard.

Here Come The Method

The Crystal Method have kicked into life their new album by a series of eclectic collaborations with the likes of former Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland, the "Godfather of Noyze" Rahzel, and for the first single, "Born Too Slow," the vocals of John Garcia, one-time frontman for Kyuss. Now signed to V2 Records, the band is ready to launch its next phase of success with Legion of Boom. The disc is expected out January 13th next year.

CKY DVD

CKY are releasing the DVD Infiltrate Destroy Rebuild - The Video Album on November 18th, which will contain videos for every song on the aforementioned album. Limited edition copies will be available early and will include the bonus DVD, Chopped and Sliced, and will include over 3 hours of bonus footage. The Getup Kids Have An Album Title

Ok, we told you that The Getup Kids were finished recording their new album. Well now it has a name, Guilt Show is expected to be out in late February or early March. The DVD that will accompany the CD will include a making of the album, some live-in-the-studio songs, a tour of the Black Lodge Studio, and some surround sound mixes of songs featured on the new record.

Tom Jones will soon release his new album, Reloaded which will features classic re-makes including the lead track with the Stereophonics "Mama Told Me Not To Come."
