California punk band 1208 are set to release their second full length Epitaph release Turn Of The Screw on February 10th. "Teetering effortlessly between melody and mayhem, 1208 pump out music with an edge and intensity sorely lacking in the genre these days." Here are a couple dates, but look for some more tour dates later in the year.
The Living End will release their new album Modern ARTillery to stores on March 2nd through Reprise/Warner and the band has also lined up their first string of tour dates in the U.S. to promote the album. The band will play a few warm up shows with Maxeen and Jackson before hitting the road with The Vines, Jet, and Neon for a full US tour. Broken bones have mended and South are finally ready to embark on their first headlining tour of the US starting today in support of their acclaimed sophomore release, With the Tides. If that isn't cool enough, then keep in mind that they will have Metric along for the tour, a band that happened to release one of the best records of 2003. Also look out for a few South in-store shows planned throught the next couple weeks.
The White Stripes will release their next single "There`s No Home For You Here" on seven-inch vinyl only. The single will be released on March 15 and include a previsouly unheard track entitled "Ball And Biscuit," which clocks in over ten minutes.

Kidneythieves new release, Trickster Reprocess, includes the debut CD completely digitally remastered plus an additional 5 songs. Also the bonus DVD that includes the obligatory "never before seen concert footage, rehearsal footage" as well as music videos, which you probably never did see unless you watch MuchMus- er, FUSE, late at night. If you watch the new trailer for the upcoming new video game, Deus Ex Invisible War, you will find that it features 6 songs from Trickster Reprocess, and the trailer was scored to the band's song "Pleasant." Anadivine, Blueprint Carcrash, and Brandston have been added to the Militia Group band roster. Anadivine's work on their debut full-length album begins in February, Blueprint's EP is due March 23rd, and Brandston's new record has yet to be titled - it should be released sometime this coming spring.

Gwen Stefani of No Doubt continues to make progress on her forthcoming solo debut, which now has a tentative title of What You Waiting For?, as well as a projected release date of July, according to her label. She's still writing until the end of March and is said to collaborate with R&B singer Anthony Hamilton. Hella Good for her.
Organizers for Lollapalooza said the festival will return this summer, despite some reports of poor ticket sales last year. A lineup (sure to include crap, if money's the biggest issue) is being finalized and will be announced at a later date.
