Jonathan Davis of Korn has signed the Drama, a "dark" band, to his Korn's Elementree Records and will produce Drama's debut album for release later this year. Meanwhile, Korn are in Seoul, South Korea, playing their heaviest new songs like "Break Some Off."

Red Right Videos

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds are to release a DVD of their videos on March 29th aptly titleled The Videos. The collection of 20 promotional films also features introductions by the band. Nick Cave fans will also be happy to note that the band is also compiling an album of B-Sides and rarities due for release in April 2004.

Amnesty International USA has created a new CD entitled Music for Human Rights which is not available in stores, but instead will be sent to new Amnesty International members upon joining. A new online hub and the CD are the first offerings under the Amnesty International Music for Human Rights® umbrella. The disc features Radiohead, Coldplay, Beth Orton, Aimee Mann, Ryan Adams, Badly Drawn Boy, and others along with an interactive multimedia digital art piece by Fischerspooner.

It's Ben Kweller Time

Ben Kweller is gearing up to release a new album entitled On My Way later this year. The disc was recorded with producer Ethan Johns and was "cut a la '60s garage rock mode: guitars, bass and drums, all live in the studio, no headphones, minimal post production." Kweller will also be co-headlining a 43-date tour with Death Cab For Cutie prior to the release of the new album. The Dropkick Murphys will release their first DVD entitled On The Road With The Dropkick Murphys on March 9, 2004. The DVD features over four hours of material including footage of the band on stage, off stage, and back stage during a 3 month tour of the US. Scarlett Girl with the Pearl

Truman has released his video for the single, “Girl with the Pearl” to TV, but it has also now shown up online for your viewing pleasure. The song is inspired by the motion picture Girl with the Pearl Earring, and features Scarlett Johansson. I haven't made up my mind on this one yet.
