Division Of Laura Lee have finished recording the follow-up to their debut Black City and will drop it off in stores on May 11th. The record, entitled Das Not Compute, was recorded at Svenska Grammofon Studio in Gothenburg, Sweden by Kalle Gustavsson and Don Ahlsterberg.

Ex-Nine Inch Nails drummer Chris Vrenna has recorded his second album under the name Tweaker, entitled 2 a.m. Wakeup Call. The album features guest Johnny Marr and appearances from singers Robert Smith of The Cure, Jonathan “Mellodrone” Bates, Jennifer Charles of Elysian Fields, Hamilton Leithauser of The Walkmen, and Nick Young of Artificial Intelligence. The album hits stores on April 20th.
The French Kicks have completed work on their secind full-length, The Trial Of The Century. The album was produced by Doug Boehm, who has previously worked with The Anniversary, Saves The Day and The Vines. The album is slated for a Spring release. The new Modest Mouse record has been delayed for release until April 6th. This change will not alter the March 9th release of the repackaged / bonus-filled The Moon & Antartica re-release from Epic. For those of you wanting some actual good news, the band will release a 7" single of "Float On" b/w "I've Got It All (Most)" on February 10th - this will also be available in the iTunes Music Store.
As we suspected, there is a new Tortoise record set to be released soon. The LP is entitled It's All Around You and contains 10 tracks. Look for the new album in April via Thrill Jockey.

Further Seems Forever vocalist, Jason Gleason has decided to part ways with the band. He will be recording vocals for the already finished new album, but its still unclear if he will be playing any dates with the band. After Gleason's decision to leave, the band wrote an open letter to the public deciding to break-up. You can read the letter here.

The 29-track collection doesn't include any new material unfortunately, however it does include 2 songs that have been remastered by producer Toby Wright, which originally appeared on the soundtrack for the film "Last Action Hero".
