Bad Religion will soon drop their 13th studio record, The Empire Strikes First, on June 8th and the album marks the band’s first record since 2002. The band also just released a slew of re-issues, so be on the lookout for those.
The Stills have have just announced a UK tour with The Shins (April 18-24) and The Walkmen (April 25-28) before heading back to the US for club dates with Metric and Sea Ray. In other Stills news, the band will hosting Subterranean on MTV2 on April 9. They're also going to be featured on Advance Warning on MTV Sunday, April 12.
Queens of the Stone Age are set to issue a limited edition 6-track EP on April 20th. The disc is said to include 3 covers, 2 new tracks, and a remix of "No One Knows" by U.N.K.L.E. Further details are expected soon.
A Perfect Circle has announced that they will release a new DVD entitled Lost in the Bermuda Triangle on May 4th. The disc will include the videos for "The Outsider", the "Bikini Bandits and the Golden Rod" trilogy and the animated feature "The Bikini Bandits Save Christmas".
Sevendust have released further details on their upcoming live acoustic album South Side Double-Wide Acoustic Live. The album will hit streets on May 4th and will also as a DVD. The track listing is below.

While playing a show in Detroit, Bob Dylan enjoyed the company of Detroit's very own Jack White. Bob Dylan was playing a cover of The White Stripes' "A Ball and A Biscuit" when Jack White appeared on stage to sing back-up vocals. I'm not sure who should be more honored? In other Jack White news, Geffen will soon be releasing a disc he made with Loretta Lynn.
Apparently Phish and Pearl Jam aren't the only bands to realize that bootlegs are a good thing, as the Pixies have announced that they will be releasing bootlegs of each show from their upcoming 15-date North American tour. 1,000 copies of each show will be printed (2,000 for the Coachella show) and sold via the DiscLive website. You can pre-order any of the shows now, or pick up a voucher at the show. Check the band's unofficial site for the official dates.

The Toronto Star has the full story on the ruling by a Canadian judge today that song swapping in the great white north is not illegal. The judge said that "making songs available for sharing over the Internet is not illegal under Canadian copyright law because the user isn't actively distributing music or advertising its availability." Of course, you realize, this means there will be an appeal.
I have so got to move. Headliners for this years Glastonbury Festival (June 25-27) will be Oasis, Muse and Paul McCartney (nice to see that rumor turned out true). Not all confirmed, but other heavily mentioned acts include Morrissey, Franz Ferdinand, James Brown, Kraftwerk, BRMC, PJ Harvey and The Chemical Brothers. Tickets go on sale Thursday April 1, and they go super fast.

Deep Elm Records has announced that submission is now open for their latest compilaton, This Is Indie Rock: The Best Bands You've Never Heard, the label’s new open-submission compilation series. Each volume will contain twelve to fifteen previously unreleased songs from indie rock bands across he world, and th series is set to replace the labels long-running Emo Diaries series.
The first in a series of Soundtracks from TV show "The OC" is coming out on March 30th and features new music from the likes of Doves, South, Jem, The 88, Phantom Planet, Spoon, and Jet. The full list is below.
