The band's debut album Moonlight Survived, is set for release on August 17th. Noel Gallagher has announced that Zac Starkey, Ringo Starr's son, will be drumming for Oasis at the upcoming Glasonbury Festival. Noel states that there are no plans for Zac to take over duties full-time, but hey, backup drummer worked out rather well for Ringo...who knows.

The Cure have made their summer festival plans official. Kicking off in West Palm Beach, FL on July 24th, Curiosa 2004 will cover a decent part of the country. The Cure will be taking Interpol, The Rapture and Mogwai with them, as well as rotating bands including Cursive, Muse, Thursday, The Cooper Temple Clause, Auf Der Maur and Head Automatica. Diesel-U-Music and its panel of industry board members have announced the final round of nominees in three genre categories for the Diesel-U-Music Awards. Three musical acts (one from each category) will perform at the Diesel-U-Music awards ceremony on May 13th, and will also head out on a national tour. Below are the nominees.
