Fans of Pinback will be pleased to know it is the first solo venture from the "other" guy in the band Armistead Burwell Smith IV (aka "Zach"). Buckley reissued

Though he's got an extensive discography post-mortem, Jeff Buckley will be re-releasing the one studio album that saw the light of day during his lifetime. The newly extended Grace (now entitled Grace: Legacy Edition) will have the original album, a 13-track disc of rarites, and a DVD featuring music videos, live performances, and studio footage.

Greendale, Home of Mr. Young

After a successful theatrical run in over 40 North American cities, Neil Young’s feature film, Greendale is set for DVD release on June 22nd. In addition to the Greendale film, the DVD comes with the documentary The Making of Greendale, which contains interviews with Neil and the cast plus behind the scenes footage. Quirky Prodigy

Big screen "freaky girl" Juliette Lewis has put down vocals for a few tracks on Prodigy's upcoming album, Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned. The album is supposed to come out in August in the UK, no news on a US release date yet. Other guest appearances are also rumored.

The Syrentha Savio Endowment

The Syrentha Savio Endowment (SSE) is a charity that raises money to pay for cancer treatment for underprivileged women who can not afford the expense of fighting the disease. The endowment has had a lot of success with benefit shows, the last of which featured Thrice and raised a good bit of money. They have another show coming up in DC featuring Darkest Hour, Majority Rule and The Routiners. Full details can be found here.

The Stax Museum of American Soul Music will host the rare photo exhibit, "The Beatles: Backstage and Behind the Scenes," from June 12th through September 12th. Stax was a cool label, fyi, and hopefully whoever catches this exhibit will enjoy it.
