During a recent show, the Blood Brothers announced more details about their upcoming album: It will be called Crimes and will be released on September 28 via V2 Records and not Artist Direct, as was their last. If that wasn't drool-worthy enough, they are planning a tour with Against Me! in the near future.
Is this really true? Social Distortion has some scheduled tour dates in support of their upcoming record. Damn you, West Coast.
Armor For Sleep have posted online their new video for the track "My Town." Check it out in Quicktime and Windows Media. The song comes from the band's latest album, Dream To Make Believe.
Tommy Stinson, the guy who, at the age of 13, was a founding member of the The Replacements, has grown up, and his music has followed suit. Tommy will release Village Gorilla Head, via Sanctuary Records, on August 3rd, and there are some more detials below:
Roadrunner/Island/Def Jam will be issuing a soundtrack for "Resident Evil: Apocalypse" on August 24th. Artists confirmed to appear on it so far include Slipknot, Killswitch Engage, Lacuna Coil and Papa Roach with more to be announced shortly. Orbital has announced that they will release their final album in the US, Blue Album, on September 21st via ATO Records. Sadly, the brotherly duo of Paul and Phil Hartnoll played their final gig at the Glastonbury Festival earlier this summer.
In support of their upcoming album, Stealing Of A Nation (In Stores 9/7), Radio 4 have released the video for the first single, "Party Crashers." Check out the video in Windows Media and Real Video.

Damon Albarn (Blur) and Bootsy Collins will be popping up, among others, on the upcoming Fatboy Slim record, Palookaville. Set for an October 5th release date, the record will feature Bootsy singing on a remake of "The Joker," originally a Steve Miller hit.
