The Beastie Boys have posted their video for "Triple Trouble" live on IFILM. It goes something like this..."Sasquatch out! The Beasties weren't ready for Yeti and now the high-mileage hip-hop hooligans are 'bout to get a big foot broke off in their backsides. They get kidnapped from the Hollywood red carpet, force fed Sasquatch's lasagna surprise and then they get dunked on in the driveway by the furry one. Abominable!"

All Hail The Moog

Due out Sept. 14th on Hollywood Records will be the soundtrack to the film "Moog" featuring a bunch of artists prone to, you guessed it, the moog. Tortoise, Stereolab, Luke Vibert, Money Mark and a bunch of others pay tribute to the great synthesizer creator Bob Moog.

Supergrass return to the states, briefly

Supergrass will return to the US in support of their still-to-be-released Best Of album, Supergrass is 10, due out Sept 28th in North America. Unfortunately the stint is brief. Fortunately for those of us not in one of the six metropolitan areas they are hitting, the band will perform on Conan O'Brien October 1st. For more on the disc, go here or here.

This year's End Fest in Seattle is coming up on Sept 25th, and a partial lineup has been announced. Dubbed "Flashback to the Future," bands performing range from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Franz Ferdinand to Echo & the Bunnymen and the Violent Femmes. We thought the debut from The Whole Fantastic World was going to come out in July, but it got pushed back to September 24th. The debut album Chime will be released on Theory 8. The band's online player has new songs, and their website has a new version of "Beets For Bombs." Do yourself a favor and investigate them now.
