A Ghost is Born (Again)

Wilco is re-releaseing their most recent album, A Ghost is Born with the addition of an extra disc containing three live songs (recorded in October in Madison) and two unreleased tracks. The CD will be released sometime in early March in the UK so imagine the US release date will be around then.

New New Order

The ultimate survivor band New Order are getting ready to release Waiting For the Sirens' Call, their first new record in 4 years, on April 26. So far, the first single, "Krafty," has been getting airplay for about a week in the UK, and I can say that it's classic New Order. Oooo, and lookie! Autolux and others pay homage to Joy Division

In the upcoming film biopic on Joy Division frontman Ian Curtis, Touching From A Distance, fans will be treated to an inside look on the singers personal life. For those not interested in the behind the scenes story, there will be a soundtrack put together featuring numerous bands (including the likes of Autolux) performing original versions of Joy Division songs.

Head North

Nine Inch Nails have officially announced their new live lineup and a release date for With Teeth. As reported, Jerome Dillon, Jeordie White and Alessandro Cortini will tour with the band along with new guitarist Aaron North (!) of The Icarus Line / Buddyhead fame. Kings Of Leon Join The U2 Ride

Word has come that U2 have chosen Kings Of Leon as the opening act for their entire U.S. spring tour. The tour will kick off on March 28th at the San Diego Sports Arena and the full itinerary is slated to be unveiled on Monday.

The lineup for Bonnaroo 2005 is shaping up. We told you that the festival takes place June 10 - 12th but did you know tickets go on sale January 29th? Now you do. Expect the standards to show their faces (who I won't bother to mention here) but also expect some surprises like Mars Volta, Secret Machines, Modest Mouse, Iron & Wine, Joanna Newsom and Citizen Cope.
