Third Verve's the Charm

The third installment of remixes featuring some of the amazing vocalists from Verve Music Group (Sarah Vaughan, Nina Simone, Dinah Washington, etc.) is headed to a music store near you. The Ex Hex is on for April

The new Mary Timony record that we told you would be coming out in April on Lookout! Records is called Ex Hex. The album was produced by Fugazi drummer Brandon Canty and enlists the help of ex-Faraquet (and current Medications) guitarist Devin Ocampo.

Lemmy finds some friends

Motorhead frontman Lemmy has announced that his upcoming solo disc will be entitled Lemmy & Friends and will feature collaborations with the likes of Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, Nirvana), Reverend Horton Heat, The Damned, and more. Seven tracks are said to already be completed.

Louis XIV prepare I major-label release

The debut album The Best Little Secrets Are Kept from Louis XIV will be released on March 22nd via Atlantic Records. The band will be on tour with Hot Hot Heat starting on Feb. 21st.
