Finally, after baby news and that little film chronicaling the spat between them and Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Dandy Warhols are back to doing what we love them for. Their new album, Odditorium Or Warlords Of Mars, is said to be coming out sometime before the onset of summer. Yay!

U2 tour features great opening bands

U2 is going on a massive tour in support of their latest album, Vertigo. While typically that would not be newsworthy it should be noted that Kings of Leon will be opening up on the first leg of the tour, and the likes of Snow Patrol, Keane, The Killers, and Franz Ferdinand will be opening up various dates on the second leg. The third leg support act hasn't been announced yet but it's likely to be somewhat enjoyable.

Sufjan Stevens visits Illinois

Sufjan Stevens has announced that he will continue in the tradition of his phenomenal Michigan album by releasing Illinois this July 5th. The album will supposedly feature 15-20 songs (one of which being "Chicago") and likely cover a number of historical Illinois based subjects. Sounds crazy, I know, but it will likely be great.
