Moody and self aware, Cinematographic, the third release from The Junior Varsity, is an almost complete departure from their previous works, which focused more on a steady diet of pop-punk and hooks. This time around, the band manages to still rock while downplaying the popiness. This may be a difficult one to swallow for older fans, but its definitely a bold and artistic move worth hearing.
