Sub Pop Records strikes again with the Handsome Furs latest album, Plague Park. And, no, they don’t strike out; they hit a solid ground-rule double. Handsome Furs, a duo from Montreal, are earnest melancholic melody makers. Look no further than their tune, “Handsome Furs Hate This City,” as proof. Look to “What We Had,” as further proof.
