Jimmy Eat World Changing Album Title

Jimmy Eat World joins the lengthening list of artists adversely affected by the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Future printings of the band's DreamWorks debut, Bleed American, will drop the title, making it a self-titled album. Opening track "Bleed American" will keep its name. After talks with management and DreamWorks executives. Lead Singer Jim Adkins explains: "We were trying to be sensitive to people who were directly affected by the tragedies," Adkins says. "It's not a super big deal if the record's just called Jimmy Eat World."
