Bloc Party Preview Second Album

Reported by heyrevolver

After a handful of European festival dates, Bloc Party will finalize and put any finishing touches on the follow-up to Silent Alarm. Late last month, Kele Okereke submitted an unconfirmed list of tracks to fansite blocparty.net. Not all tracks will appear on the album, but those left off will surely end up on various singles as b-sides. The NME was also recently allowed to preview the first four tracks and described the new material as "dark, bigger and quite abrasive."

European festivals:
8/18 - Lowlands, Biddinghuizen, Holland
8/19 - V Festival, Chelmsford
8/20 - V Festival, Staffordshire
9/2 - Electric Picnic, County Laois, Ireland
