Mars Volta invents new word for next album

The next opus from The Mars Volta will be entitled Amputechture and is slated for an August 15th release date. The eight-song affair is bound to bring you more prog rock than any regular human could handle in a single sitting (in a good way). We also hear that John Frusciante helped Omar be more objective about his riffs.
