John McCrea of Cake continued his stint as video director, directing the new clip for 'Love You Madly', the next single from "Comfort Eagle". The video is a satire of the cooking show "Iron Chef" and pits band members Pete McNeal and Vince Di Fiore against each other as they prepare "pumpkin dish." A publicist for the band reported that the band members actually cooked the dishes and that were critically judged by Jeff "The Frugal Gourmet" Smith, Phyllis Diller, and Rick James. Look for the video in the near future and make plans to watch Cake peform 'Love You Madly' on the Late Show with David Letterman on November 29th.
