Reported by yewknee

Billy Corgan asks. Billy Corgan receives. Assuming it's not a very late April Fools joke, it appears that the Smashing Pumpkins have reformed and will be recording a new album this summer, the first since 2000.

From Smashing Pumpkins.com
"it's official, The Smashing Pumpkins are currently writing songs for their upcoming album, their first since 2000. no release date has yet been set, but the band plans to begin recording this summer."
