Select performances from Saturday's Concert for New York will be released as a two-CD set on November 27. The concert featured Paul McCartney, David Bowie, Mick Jagger, Elton John, the Who and countless others. The tracklisting for the album has yet to be determined, but it is know that it will be released on Columbia Records. Proceeds will benefit the Robin Hood Relief Fund, which will use proceeds to help lower-income New Yorkers affected by the terrorist attacks and the families of firefighters, police officers and rescue workers who were injured or killed. The concert lasted nearly six hours and was broadcast live on VH1. It has raised more than $30 million in ticket sales and donations to date.
