Amnesty International loves John Lennon
Reported by yewknee
Yoko Ono has donated the entire catalog of solo works from John Lennon to Amnesty International. The foundation is taking this opportunity to let other artists record covers of Lennon songs and release them exclusively on their website. The likes of Black Eyed Peas' ("Power to the People"), The Cure ("Love"), Snow Patrol ("Isolation"), and The Postal Service ("Grow Old With Me") are the first batch of artists to cover the songs, which will be available in early 2006 at the official Make Some Noise website.
