Childrens Comp to create early tastemakers
Reported by yewknee
If you find yourself unable to connect with your little niece, nephew, son, daughter, or other associated youngling you may want to remember to pick up See You on the Moon!: Songs for Kids of All Ages by PaperBag Records in February of next year. The compilation features original songs (for kids of all ages) by the likes of Apostle of Hustle, Broken Social Scene, Sufjan Stevens, Kid Koala, Hot Chip, Junior Boys and more. Actually, the BSS song is a cover ("Puff the Magic Dragon") as well as the Sufjan track ("The Friendly Beasts" - a Christian song of some sort). The lesson here is to teach the youth of the world early not to succumb to anything less than total indie rock submersion.
