Flaming Lips try to make good on Christmas

It seems like there is always some release that is rumored forever but somehow fails to deliver. The Flaming Lips are the next in line for this destiny as they have been saying that their film Christmas On Mars would be released for years now. Finally, the band is reporting that shooting is done, they are currently editing, and are eyeing a release this winter. Somehow I'm still doubtful.
