Beasties Add Another Night

The Beastie Boys have added a second night to their New Yorkers Against Violence benefit concert, this time hitting up Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Mos Def, and the Roots, among others, to perform. Scheduled for Oct. 29 at the Hammerstein Ballroom, the second night will also feature DJ Afrika Bambaata, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, and as-yet-unannounced special guests. Like the first night, all proceeds from the show will benefit the New York Association for New Americans Sept. 11 Fund and the New York Women's Foundation Disaster Relief Fund.
