Benefit yourself while benefitting others
Reported by yewknee
Saddle Creek knows that the best way to get you motivated to benefit victims of the Katrina hurricane disaster in Louisiana is to ensure that you personally benefit from helping others. So why not release a compilation of b-sides, rarities, and new songs with 100% of the proceeds going to the Red Cross? And why not call it Lagniappe? Expect to find the usual lineup of The Faint, Bright Eyes, Cursive, The Good Life and other such contributions from the likes of Broken Spindles and other labelmates. You can get it on iTunes right now or pre-order it from Saddle Creek (to hit stores on October 25th).
