Beastie Boys organize benefit concert

Politically active as always, the Beastie Boys have organized a benefit concert for Oct. 28th entitled "The New Yorkers Against Violence." The proceeds from the event will be donated to The New York Association for New Americans and the New York Womens Foundation. The show is set for the Hammerstein Ballroom in NY and will feature a short hip-hop set with Mixmaster Mike by the Beastie Boys as well as music from Rival Schools, The Strokes, The B-52s, Cibo Matto, Saul Williams and Pakistani vocalist Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
