At the 2001 Family Values Tour's second stop Friday, at the Allstate Arena near Chicago, Richard Patrick of Filter joined the Stone Temple Pilots onstage for an explosive version of, "Hey Man, Nice Shot." STP also took the opportunity to take a couple digs at rap/rock with comments such as, "Fuck nü-metal! How 'bout rock and roll?" and "I ain't no motherfucking rapper! But I got one thing in common with every one of you: rock and roll!"
