Love, At It Again

Courtney Love recently filed a lawsuit against Universal Music Group, Dave Grohl, and Krist Novoselic for control of Nirvana's master recordings. She claimed that Geffen is not the same label the band signed to 1991 and that makes their contract null and void. Aside from the $3.1 million dollars she is requesting, she is seeking the liquidation of the LLC that she formed with Grohl and Novoselic to handle the Nirvana estate. She reported: "[Krist and Dave] formed an LLC when I was stoned, so I had to remove the LLC, which I'm in the process of doing and will succeed at. This isn't about taking their money away or anything else, but the reason you have no [new] Nirvana material is we can't function."
