Tori: Author, Beekeeper

Reported by erun

For some reason, all my posts today have been about female artists. Not on purpose, but anyway, to conclude: Tori Amos' eighth album, The Beekeeper, is due February 22nd.

Organs, gospel choirs, and Afro-Cuban drums are used on The Beekeeper, and song titles include "Ribbons Undone," "Sleeps with Butterflies" and "Sweet the Sting." She is collaborating again with bassist John Evans and drummer Matt Chamberlain and is producing the record herself in her U.K. studio Martian Engineering. Before The Beekeeper hits stores, Amos will become an author release her autobiography, Tori Amos: Piece by Piece, co-written by music journalist Ann Powers, on February 8th.
