In a rather odd move, Oasis founding brother Noel Gallagher announced on Britain's Sky One show Tim Lovejoy and the Allstars that the band will deliver a new album on May 26, 2005. The reason this is odd is that he admitted they haven't actually been working too hard lately. Noel said he figured that since they now had a deadline, they would be forced to produce.
Ever exhibiting brotherly love, Noel went on to say that Liam is writing a lot of songs these days. Of course, he also said, "It's a pitty they're not going to make it onto the album." You gotta love 'em, don'tcha?
