Record labels help out

Reported by yewknee

The seemingly only positive outcome of the recent tragic events is the absolute unity of our country to work towards a common goal. This pertains even to the big whigs at the major labels. BMG has reportedly contributed $2 million dollars to a fund for the families of those lost. CEO Thomas Middelhoff said "Our answer to terrorism can only lie in solidarity and the courage of our convictions." Vivendi Universal and Sony Music have also announced that they will be donating a "signifigant contribution" to the cause as well.
