Bowery Ballroom Benefit

On May 11th, a show dubbed F*** Cancer will be held at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC to benefit Jackie Farry, a young tour manager suffering from multiple myeloma. Featured acts include J Mascis, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Har Mar Superstar, a solo set by Cat Power and a special performance from Chavez, who reunited for this show.
Other musicians such as Nick Zinner of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Stephen Malkmus and Chavez frontman Matt Sweeney have donated prizes to be raffled off. Proceeds from the raffle will also go to benefit Farry as well as other young people with cancer
