A Chore No More

Well add another band to the ever growing list of bands calling it quits. After ten years together Ontario's Chore have decided to call it a day. The band will be playing their final show on May 14th. Click more for a statement from the band.
"We're just collectively out of gas and ideas. We actually told ourselves a long time ago, "3 strikes and we're out" The Coastaline Fire was one hell of a third swing, but somehow we missed the ball. It's been an incredible decade, working with my brother, David, Brian and Mitch and we're all still friends and brothers. We just weren't very good at being band-mates anymore. Chore was like a job that was really exciting when we first got hired, but once we were 9 years into it with no substantial promotions or pay raises, the excitement had merely fizzled into jaded boredom. It's just time to put it to rest and invigorate ourselves with something new."
