Houston Goes Cold Turkey

Reported by simple

It now seems to be official that Houston have broken up. The band will play a final show on June 26th in the legendery First Avenue main room in Minneapolis. Janis Figure will be co-headlining the bill and tickets are $5 in advance and $10 at the door. Read below for more details on the band members other projects.

And the party continues still:

Jeff and Lane will continue to play together. Recording has already begun for a new record from their as of yet unnamed project. Shows and touring are in the near future.

Lane's other band, The Spit'n Cobras, will be debuting their shitkickin'rock with an EP and shows at various roadhouses this summer.

Ian has joined forces with his brother, Adam, in a band called Story of the Sea. Check out some mp3s at www.purevolume.com. They will also be playing shows in the near future.

His other bands will also be busy with shows and recording. The Dames will be recording an EP soon, and Kid Dakota can be found on various forthcoming compilation CDs.

And, if your band is in need of a recording that doesn't sound like it was recorded by your deaf grandma, come to Vaudeville Studio here in Uptown, Mpls; where Jeff is the studio guru.
