As we've mentioned before, silverchair are currently in an undisclosed studio in New South Wales, Australia with producer David Bottrill working on their 4th studio album. The trio have been working for about 9 days so far and have completed the basic tracks on about 6 songs. The band will continue to work for the coming weeks and you can read about it all on their studio diary, which is being updated daily by a member of the recording team.
