Courtney Love side-project a real bastard
Reported by yewknee
We've reported about Courtney Love's new side-project Bastard but it seems to be a bit more hassle than she planned on. The band was put together so Love could write and record music for Epitaph Records while Hole was on haitus due to label problems. The group originally consisted of Courtney Love, Louise Post (Veruca Salt), Patty Schemel (Hole), Kat Bjelland, and Gina Crosley (Rockit Girl) - but Bjelland split due to personal conflicts and Crosley left to join Veruca Salt. So then Corey Parks (Nashville Pussy) was convinced to join but she's left too. Louise Post has also reportedly left after one day in the studio (and several weeks of practice) due to personal conflicts. So Courtney's a bit out in the cold for now, but on the slightly postive side of things - Veruca Salt has already got some new songs penned for a new album due out on Beyond Records sometime next year.
