The Avalanches new album "Since I Left You" will be released in the US on October 16th via Sire Records. The group have been in a label bidding war between Maverick, Grand Royal, and London/Sire Records for the past several weeks. The album was originally released in Australia in 1999, so it's about time for the album to hit the states. Thanks to Pitchfork for breaking the story.
