Aside from appearing twice on the new Basement Jaxx record, Meshell Ndegeocello will drop her 5th album, Comfort Woman, on October 14th. The album is a mix of Ndegeocello's soulful funk, reggae and intergalactic psychedelia. Basically, "it's a love record." You can head over to her website, sign up for the mailing list and preview a new track from the album, "Andromeda And The Milky Way". Here's the spacey cover art, which looks rad to me.
