According to Sacto, CA the Deftones were offered the opening slot on the west coast dates of the upcoming Jane's Addiction US tour. The group may or may not appear, because the scheduled dates overlap the Smokeout Tour. In other news, the Deftones have reportedly been writing new material while backstage at shows.
