We Be 3 In 2003

In case you missed the big post that ran through this past, holiday weekend, Silent Uproar celebrated it's 3rd birthday on July 5th. If you'd like to read the entire message, you can check it out here...
Like most of you, this weekend will be a time of celebration for us here at Silent Uproar. However, while the rest of the country celebrates July 4th, with cookouts, fireworks, red, white and blue, etc... we will be celebrating something else. I for one am not too proud of what our country has done in the past year and, so, this weekend, when I am celebrating, I will be thinking about three awesome years of Silent Uproar! That's right, on July 5th SU will celebrate our 3rd birthday and all the amazing things we have accomplished in that time.
Silent Uproar has gone from a site run by two college guys that was visited by about 50 of their friends, to a site that is highly respected in the industry by major record labels, indie record labels, our online peers, and bands themselves. We have worked with so many amazing musicians, and, in various ways, helped bring some new ones to people's attention. We received nearly 3 million hits last month and are starting to strengthen our presence across the web. It should be clear to you by now that we are here for the long haul.
So what's in the future for us? More reviews, more robust news, more interviews, continued kick ass contests, more writers, more features... basically, more. Silent Uproar is also stepping it up a notch and releasing our first record as a record label in about a week, and we couldn't be more pleased with Far-Less and the amazing record you all will hear soon. So stay tuned, have a beer on us, and keep checking back for all that great content and fresh design that you have come to expect from the big Silent U.
Sincerely,
Scott, Robbie, Michael, Nick, Erin, Amy, Rob, Ryan, Craig, David
