Well you should have read this somewhere by now, but Weezer bassist Mikey Welsh recently checked into a psychiatric hospital for treatment of an undisclosed condition. The band doesn't even know exactly what is wrong with him. So, the band is auditioning possible temporary replacements for Welsh in case he doesn't recover in time for the tour. According to Karl, Weezer are rehearsing numerous new songs and may debut some in their upcoming shows. It is being said that they now have about 33 new songs ready to go.
